DLJ publishes online articles and essays on a rolling basis in our online journal, Access. Biannually, DLJ publishes around four (4) Articles and two (2) Student Notes in a print journal.

DLJ carefully and fairly reviews every submission that we receive. In addition to quality of scholarship, we review based on criteria such as uniqueness, timeliness, and intersectional engagement with law and disability. If you have any questions about our submissions process, please contact dlj@lawnet.ucla.edu.

AI Policy

DLJ requires that authors do not use any generative artificial intelligence in scholarly submissions. We require that authors disclose in a cover page or initial footnote any AI usage during the research or editing process. If you used multiple AI sources, please disclose each source and how it was used in the submission.
